
The capacitor changeover contactor is a special contactor used to switch on and off low-voltage parallel capacitors and is widely used in automatic compensation reactive power compensation equipment. Its working principle: The contact of the series resistor connected in advance is a resistance closing circuit. When the electromagnetic coil of the contactor is energized, the resistance closing circuit is connected in advance, and the current charges the capacitor through the resistor. The resistance suppresses the capacitor closing inrush current, and then The main contact closure carries the capacitive current. The resistor circuit disconnects from the main circuit and automatically resets after suppressing the capacitor closing inrush, which can reduce the chance of burning out the resistor when the capacitor is cut off.
