
Bioplastics are derived from renewable resources, biodegradable, or both. Materials derived from renewable resources and biodegradable polymers are bioplastics, such as starch blends, polybutylene terephthalate, polylactic acid, and PBS. In multilayer film technology, two or more materials with specific and complementary properties are combined to enhance the overall performance of the bioplastic.
