
The capacitive screen touch chip plays a role in detecting and controlling the mutual capacitance sensor. Its working principle is: the mutual capacitance touch screen is made of transparent ITO conductive material on the glass surface into a horizontal (X) and vertical (Y) electrode array (see Figure 1 below) ), the vertical and horizontal electrodes form a capacitance with each other. When a finger touches the surface of the capacitive screen, the human body affects the electric field between the vertical and horizontal electrodes, thereby changing the capacitance between the two electrodes (see Figure 2 below). When the chip is working, the driving electrodes sequentially output specific excitation signals, and the sensing electrodes synchronously detect the received signals. From this, the size of all capacitors can be obtained, that is, a set of two-dimensional matrix data representing the size of the mutual capacitance of the capacitive screen, according to the matrix The data changes to calculate the coordinates of the finger, that is, the touch point. At the same time, because the detection data is two-dimensional, it can truly reflect the data changes of multiple touch points, thereby realizing multi-touch.
