
Dual-mode surface acoustic wave filter (Surface Acoustic Wave Filter, SAW Filter) is a filter technology widely used in wireless communication and electronic devices. Dual-mode surface acoustic wave filter is a filter made by using the physical properties of surface acoustic waves propagating on piezoelectric crystal substrates. It uses the piezoelectric effect to convert electrical signals into surface acoustic wave signals by evaporating metal films on piezoelectric substrates (such as quartz, lithium niobate, etc.) and making interdigital electrodes. It then adjusts the electrode structure and the propagation path of the surface acoustic wave to achieve filtering and selection of signals of specific frequencies. When a signal voltage is applied to the transmitting transducer (input interdigital electrode), an electric field is formed between the electrodes, causing the piezoelectric material to vibrate mechanically (i.e., ultrasonic waves), which propagate along the crystal surface in the form of surface acoustic waves. At the receiving end, the receiving transducer (output interdigital electrode) converts the mechanical vibration into an electrical signal output.
