Quantum dots also have good optical stability, wide excitation spectrum, narrow emission, large Stokes shift, good biocompatibility and long fluorescence lifetime. In addition, the most important feature of quantum dots is that they can change the wavelength of light emitted by changing their size and chemical composition.
